The purchase of two shropshire lambs thirty years ago started a life long love of sheep and fiber. What started as a 4-H project to keep me busy has became a way of life. After spending 7 months in Australia working with Merino sheep my interest changed from meat sheep to wool sheep. Being in the commercial wool industry for years colored wool was an undesirable product. This changed in 1997 with the birth of two colored Merino ewes, Flower and Milk. In 2005, I started coating all sheep for handspinning purposes. I have exhibited both sheep and fleeces throughout the United States.
